Dr. TL Means (PhD)
Dr. Tammy L. Means is Chief Learning Officer of Learning Services & Solutions, Inc., a human capital development and technology services firm located in both Mississippi and Alabama. Tammy has two true passions (1) Learning and (2) Technology. Tammy has provided provided learning and development and information technology services for various industries throughout the US for 18+ years. Tammy has a broad range of expertise in computer technologies and human capital development through both education and work experience. Tammy also serves as adjunct professor for a local university teaching information technology, human resource, and leadership courses. Tammy joined the Make Training Stick® team in March 2018 and leads new content – Sticky Notes, presentations, books, consulting and continues to remain an active member of the Association for Talent Development and Society for Human Resource Management.
Dr. Barbara Carnes (PhD)
Barbara Carnes is an internationally recognized consultant, speaker, facilitator, and writer with expertise in workplace learning, specifically in learning transfer and train-the-trainer. She is the co-author of the classic book Making Training Stick and author of Making Training Stick: A Training Transfer Field Guide (2nd Ed.), Making Learning Stick, and Making E-Learning Stick. With over 25 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering corporate training, Barbara conducts workshops in both face-to-face and virtual media for new and experienced workplace learning professionals throughout the US and in other countries. She is a frequent speaker at corporate learning conferences including the Association for Talent Development Conference, Training Conferences, the International Society for Performance Improvement, and Bob Pike’s Creative Training Techniques conference.
