Hi, I’m Barbara Carnes, President of Carnes and Associates. For over twenty-five years we have worked with managers, trainers and HR professionals in organizations to help improve job skills and employee effectiveness. We offer a variety of client-focused, flexible approaches that include training, team-building, instructional design, and a collection of assessments.
Drawing on years of our own research on making training stick, our learning approaches feature strategies to transfer back to the workplace, the skills learned in training.
We are authorized distributors for Inscape Publishing, one of the leading publishers of human resource development assessment tools. We have personally used these assessments for years, and we now provide them to trainers and managers for use in their own training and coaching. Certification is not required to use these assessments, although it is available.
The most popular assessments are based on DiSC. The DiSC model of work behavior is a time-tested way to help employees, managers, and sales/customer service reps improve their people skills so they can do their jobs better. Geared for the trainer and HR professional who doesn’t have a lot of time to spend preparing training or evaluating results, these time-tested tools will increase the impact of your next training or coaching – during the session and back on the job.
