Once upon a time there was an organization that relied on the work of bears (Participant Bears – PBs) to produce their goods.

All was well until appeared on the horizon, and the bears had to learn new skills – fast.

The Trainer Bees in the organization assessed the need, and busily put together training which the Bears attended….but then when the bees observed the bears on the job, they found that the bears had forgotten all but 20% of what they had learned!

The bees put their heads together to come up with something appealing to the bears….so the training would stick.

They developed Techniques To Integrate Education (TIEs)… the honey that is the bees’ product, appealing to the bears, and is sticky.

The bears loved it and they all worked happily ever after.
